The sign out on Las Vegas blvd used to be the enterance to Las Vegas 30 years ago. It remains a popular landmark to use as a photo background. A couple of years ago drivers literally took a life changing chance when droping a passenger off in front of the sign.
Recently the city recognizing the popularity, did a make over so we could safely drop off and have a place to park in front of the sign out of harms way. They’re also being environmentally friendly by installing artificial turf.
