I appreciate the sympathy but one of the main reasons I got fired I believe is because I always had my laptop with me. I actually made more money on the stands than I did driving so I'm not hurting. Besides I will get unemployment because I didn't do anything wrong. Sandy I ok I guess but he is so jaded he doesn't know the truth when he hears it.

I feel your pain, dude. It is not a good time to be out of a job. I hope everything works out for you. I worked for Desert Cab Company before for four months. One time I worked over 12 hours a day every day for forty days in a row when I was there. I got along with Sandy and everybody. And the drivers there do work hard, too. I went to work and asked for a restricted radio cab every day because I knew there was no way I could keep up with the average book. But that was several years ago, and back then business was good in Las Vegas, and I made more money taking radio calls at that time then I did last year working on the strip all the time. Desert had a lot of radio calls back then. When I was driving a restricted cab at Desert I was almost above the average for the shift, and many times on the top of restricted drivers. But when I worked in an unrestricted cab at Desert, for some reason I was always way below the average book compared to the other unrestricted drivers, even though I had more rides than average. Must have just been a run of bad luck. I quit and moved on.
